The league is affiliated to the Gloucestershire FA and currently runs 5 Divisions, containing 41 member clubs and a total of 63 teams. Founded in 1907, the league currently acts as feeder into the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League and is sponsored by The Whitehouse Press Ltd.
Milkwall win JO Roberts Cup with a 3-1 win over English Bicknor.

Whitecroft Res win Geo Sandoe Cup 5-3 on penalties against Westbury Utd Res after the game finished 1-1 after extra time.

Whitecroft made it 2 wins out of 2 on Saturday as they won 2-1 away at Soudley. Liam Nelmes for Soudley and Lewis Halford for Whitecroft were on target in the first half but Luke Hutton came off the bench to secure the points for the team from Grove Road. Last seasons Golden Boot winner Marc Matthews continued where he left off last year for Huntley as he scored twice in their 3-1 win away at Redbrook. Debutant Jason Littleton scored the third, with Tom Wareham replying for the home club. Last seasons runners up Milkwall shrugged off the disappointment of their opening day defeat by thrashing struggling Lydbrook Ath Res 12-1. Mitcheldean and Coleford both earned their first points of the season as they played out a 1-1 draw, the points were also shared at Blakeney as they drew 2-2 with English Bicknor. Tony Smith scored twice for the home side, with Simon Gwilliam replying in kind for Bicknor. Elsewhere, 2 Joe McGregor goals earned Westbury the points away at Broadwell Res, whose reply came courtesy of an own goal.
